Allure: The Ogee Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths Are Your New Gym Bag Must Haves

While a slew of people are jumping on the exercise bandwagon for New Years' resolutions, I'm hanging onto my already-existing gym-rat status—and clear complexion—with help from the Ogee Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths. These face wipes aren't so simple, you guys, and they're my absolutely favorite new way to refresh post-sweat session in under 30 seconds flat.

Let me back up for a sec, since I know, a face wipe doesn't seem so extraordinary (even if it's the hardest item to snag from the Allure beauty closet.) Ogee is a jojoba oil-based skin-care brand that dropped last September. With just four pieces in their collection—cleansing cloths, a glow-enhancing facial oil, a hydrating serum, and a nourishing lip oil—the certified organic brand is slowly making its way into the hearts of skin-care fanatics alike (myself, of course, included).

But those Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths are the true standout of the Ogee line—and that's not because of their luxe, gold packaging, although I suppose it doesn't hurt. Rather, as someone who blows through her ClassPass Core membership like there's no Barry's Bootcamp tomorrow, I live for face wipes. In fact, I need them. Because I tend to take classes before hitting the office in the morning, I often rely on cleansing cloths to scrape off my early-morning AM and SPF before I hit the shower after class.

Because of the wipes impressive roster of ingredients, they're multifunctional in all of the best ways: There's soothing aloe leaf juice, hydrating glycerin, and exfoliating alpha hydroxy acids (a mix of sugar cane, sugar maple, and orange extracts). Together, these ingredients remove grime and dirt while calming red, inflamed skin. Plus, the exfoliating properties slough off dead skin cells, helping jumpstart cell turnover and ultimately giving you a bit of an extra glow—as if that post-workout flush wasn't sexy enough on its own.

What really seals the deal on these wipes for me, though, is that they're basically endorsed by every single flawless-skinned supermodel in New York City. If you're in town—or have read anything recently, including this very site—you may know of the ModelFit gym, where the likes of Taylor Swift, Karlie Kloss, and kountless (sorry) other models, actresses, and A-listers work up a sweat. ModelFit stocks these wipes in their locker room—so basically, after I took a class at ModelFit, I didn't see anyone famous but did use one of the Ogee Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths, I felt like a supermodel. Or at least felt like I had the glow of one. And if you're not in the New York area, you can pick up your own pack of the Ogee Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths for $20 at ogee.com.
